Nona was born in Argentina on June 16, 1944. A loving mother, wife and grandmother, Leticia or Nona as she came to be known following the birth of her one and only grandson, Alexander, was a selfless, compassionate and generous human being. She always put other's needs before hers and ensured her family learnt good principles: love, honesty and respect.

A guardian angel to her grandson, she always saw past his autism and only saw the beatiful, smart and gentle boy he's growing up to be. She also was more than just a "mum" to Natalia. Leticia was her daughter's friend, her teacher and her unconditional ally.

Nona was a top cook! Her son in law loved her Argentinian homemade food: empanadas, lasagna and prune stuffed pork. She always thought of new ways to help Alex try new foods and that's how he grew to love chicken milanese and pizza!

She loved flowers (especially orchids) as well as gardening, music, animals (dogs being her favourite companions) and spending time with her friends and family. 

Sadly, after a long battle with cancer, Nona passed away on Sunday, 22nd November 2015 at the Duchess of Kent Hospice in Tilehurst.

Gone but never forgotten, She will always be loved and remembered by all her friends and family.
